Aqua Finance, Inc. (AFI) was founded by Robert (Bob) Chadwell in 1986. Bob has a background both in banking and water treatment, having been a water treatment dealer himself. He used his experience in both fields to create programs that he knew would help water treatment dealers close more sales. Bob grew the company from a handful of in-house accounts for his own dealership to become the leading provider of water treatment financing to dealers nationwide, and he is still actively involved in the business today, serving as President and CEO.

Though AFI started in the water treatment industry, we have branched out into other types of financing as dealers in other markets approached us to create programs that would help their businesses grow and prosper. Today, AFI works with several thousand dealers nationwide and provides not only water treatment financing, but also home improvement financing, HVAC financing, vacuum financing, medical financing and more.

AFI is located in Wausau, WI, the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Our "small-town" approach to lending, combined with our proprietary underwriting system, help us approve more customers than most other lenders … but it is our dealer relationships we value the most. If our dealers don’t succeed, we don’t succeed!
