Employees Raise Over $800 For FABFAN
Wausau, WI - August 18, 2011 - Aqua Finance employees donated $810 to help "Stuff the Bus" as part of the Fill A Backpack Fill A Need campaign to provide basic school supplies to eligible students.
"AFI employees always step up to the challenge and show their generosity," said Bob Heyman, assistant vice president of human resources at Aqua Finance. "We are proud of our positive impact in the community."

Jacki Gessler, HR, Wins Luminary Award
Jacki Gessler, H.R. generalist at Aqua Finance, was awarded the United Way’s Luminary Award for the first quarter of 2011. Gessler was recognized for her efforts in launching the local Career Closet, which provides business clothing, interview training and career advice to people in need, and for being active on the Emerging Leaders volunteer committee and other United Way activities. The Luminary Award honors someone each quarter for "brilliantly lighting a path of excellence through personal leadership, superior performance and making a difference." Aqua Finance congratulates Jacki on her service to the Wausau community.

Jacki Gessler, HR, nominated for Luminary Award
HR generalist Jacki Gessler has been nominated for the Luminary Award through the United Way. The Luminary Award honors someone each quarter for "brilliantly lighting a path of excellence through personal leadership, superior performance and making a difference."
Jacki was nominated for being instrumental in launching the local Career Closet, which provides business clothing, interview training, and more to people in need. Jacki has helped to find volunteers, solicit donations and market the Career Closet to the community. Jacki is also active on the Emerging Leaders volunteer committee and in other United Way activities.

Aqua Finance employee earns SPHR certification
Wausau, WI –January 5, 2011- Robert L. Heyman, assistant vice-president for Aqua Finance, Inc., recently earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). To achieve the certification, awarded by the HR Certification Institute, an applicant must pass a comprehensive examination and demonstrate a strong background of professional human resource experience. "Certification as a human resource professional clearly demonstrates a commitment to personal excellence and to the human resource profession," said Mary Power, CAE, Executive Director of the HR Certification Institute. The HR Certification Institute is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the largest organization dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession. The Institute promotes the establishment of professional standards and recognizes professionals who meet those standards.

Aqua Finance Employees are "Passionately Pink"
Wausau, WI - November 9, 2009 - Aqua Finance employees donated $2080 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation-Central Wisconsin Affiliate as part of the Passionately Pink for the Cure campaign. The primary mission of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization is to energize science to find a cure for breast cancer and to raise funds for that cause.
Aqua Finance employees who donated $20 or more to the Passionately Pink campaign were eligible to wear casual dress for the entire month of October. Aqua Finance President Bob Chadwell presented the check to Susan G. Komen Central Wisconsin representatives on November 9, 2009. "Even in tough economic times, our employees have shown their willingness to pitch in and help a great cause," said Chadwell.

Aqua Finance Employees "Stuff The Bus"
Wausau, WI - August 14, 2009 - Aqua Finance employees donated $1285 to help "Stuff the Bus" as part of the Fill A Backpack Fill A Need campaign to provide basic school supplies to eligible students.
Employees who made a donation of $10 or more were eligible to wear casual dress to work the week of August 10-14. "It’s a simple way to raise money for a great cause," said Jacki Gessler, human resources generalist at Aqua Finance.

AFI Announces Management Changes
Wausau, WI – January 23, 2009 - Aqua Finance today announced the promotion of Scott Treu to senior vice president of credit. Treu will be responsible for hiring, training and supervising credit staff, developing credit policies and procedures, and managing the profitable acquisition of contracts. Treu joined AFI in 2001 as credit manager and served as vice president of credit before assuming his current role. Treu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
Andrea Swiney has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Swiney will be responsible for the company’s sales and marketing efforts, including advertising/trade shows, dealer communications and training, corporate communications and new dealer acquisitions. Swiney joined AFI in 2004 as a business development manager and previously served as assistant vice president of sales and marketing. She holds a B.A. in Spanish and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and her MBA with a marketing emphasis from the same university.

Amanda Ellenbecker has been promoted to funding manager. She will oversee the company’s funding procedures. Ellenbecker joined AFI in December of 2004 as a funding assistant and has also served as assistant funding manager.

AFI Appoints Chief Operating Officer
Wausau, WI - December 29, 2008 - Aqua Finance announced today that Robert (Bob) P. Hamilton has been named chief operating officer. He will be in charge of all employees and day-to-day operations for the company and will report directly to the president and board of directors. Hamilton joined AFI in 2007 as senior vice president of sales and marketing and in 2008 was also named senior vice president of credit.

AFI Announces Senior Management Changes
Wausau, WI - April 3, 2008 - Aqua Finance, Inc., has made several changes to its senior management team. Tracy Dudek has joined the company as senior vice president of account servicing. Dudek has been in accounts receivable management for more than 15 years, most recently serving as chief operating officer of a national collection firm. Dudek has been a member of the Collection Technology Summit’s Industry Advisory Board and has served as director and secretary of the Wisconsin Collector’s Association. Dudek will oversee Aqua Finance’s collection activities, bad debt recovery, and account servicing department. Richard Kosiec will now serve as senior vice president of strategic planning and acquisitions. Kosiec joined Aqua Finance in 2006 as the senior vice president of credit. In his new role, Kosiec will be responsible for developing company growth strategies, managing new product pricing and performance evaluation, and handling the company’s portfolio acquisitions program. Bob Hamilton has assumed the role of senior vice president of credit, sales, and marketing. Hamilton joined Aqua Finance in 2007 as senior vice president of sales and marketing. In his new role, Hamilton will retain responsibility for the company’s new business development activities and have the added responsibility of managing the company’s credit approval processes and programs.
