Account Representative

Wausau, WI (Full Time)

In compliance with company policies and procedures, responsible for meeting delinquency and loss objectives of assigned accounts.

Essential Job Functions

1. Collection of assigned accounts. Must not let the customer off of the phone until the account is resolved. 2. Responsible for the answering and resolving of incoming calls to answer customer questions, resolve concerns/disputes on billing statements, credit reports, promo issues, service problems, etc. 3. Meeting the call goals of 125 calls and 8 phone checks per day. Meet the goal of 40 phone checks off of 30 day plus delinquency per month. 4. Complete a minimum of 2 and up to 5 Disconnect Print Outs per day on assigned accounts. 5. Complete a minimum of 2 and up to 4 full hours of dialer time daily. 6. Meet dialer call goal of 30 accounts called per hour.

Non-Essential Job Functions

1. Assist in verifications when needed. 2. Assist in calling First Payments as needed. 3. Assistn in completing skips as needed. 4. Assist in answering overflow ring group calls.

Qualifications

1. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers. 2. Must be able and willing to resolve problems, answer questions, and handle difficult situations that arise on assigned accounts. 3. Must have the ability to use a telephone, fax, computer and predictive dialer. 4. Must be able to clearly document all conversations in English in the computer system. 5. Must be able to work two nights per week and two Saturdays per month. 6. Must have sufficient training and experience to perform the job functions above.

Authority

1. Quote payoffs to customers. 2. Waive late charges of up to $10.00. 3. Accept payments via telephone by phone check or credit card. 4. Recommend settlements on accounts to manager on duty for problem situations. 5. Recommend Re-writes and/or Extensions to manager on duty.
